About Stephen Wilson
A resident of Mississippi since 2000, Stephen Wilson grew up in Macon, Georgia and attended the University of Georgia, where he was a member of Phi Beta Kappa and Phi Kappa Phi. He graduated with a degree in Political Science magna cum laude, with a minor in Russian, and chose to attend the University of Mississippi School of Law, where he graduated in 2003. While there, Stephen served as the Moot Court Board competition director and was Moot Court Board Member of the Year for 2002-03.
Stephen is admitted to all state and Federal courts in Mississippi, state court and Federal District Court in the Northern District of Alabama, and is an inactive member of the Georgia Bar. He has served on the Board of Governors for the Mississippi Association for Justice. He currently serves at the attorney for the Civil Service Commission for the City of Meridian. He is a graduate of the 2013 Mississippi Bar Leadership Forum, a prestigious program designed to prepare Mississippi lawyers for future opportunities in leadership roles.
Married since 2001 to his college sweetheart, Mary, a teacher, Stephen is the proud father of Robert, Andrew, and Sarah. He attends St. Paul’s Episcopal Church and serves as a board member of the Jimmie Rodgers Music Festival. He coached the Mock Trial team at Lamar School for five years. In his free time, he enjoys reading, watching college football, and coaching his sons in soccer.
